- AIoT-based cargo quality management technology and global market competitiveness officially recognized through G-PASS designation
- Proactive defense against quality degradation caused by external environmental factors amid geopolitical crises such as the Strait of Hormuz blockade
Willog (co-CEOs Bae Seong-hun and Yoon Ji-hyeon), an AIoT-based supply chain intelligence solutions company, has announced that it has been officially designated as a G-PASS (Globally Promising Procurement and Supply) company under the program administered by the Public Procurement Service (PPS) of Korea.
G-PASS is a government program that selects outstanding domestic procurement companies with proven export capabilities and provides them with concentrated support. Through this designation, Willog has secured an official springboard for entering the global public procurement market and is expected to accelerate its international expansion.
Willog provides AIoT-based supply chain intelligence solutions that collect and analyze real-time data on cargo conditions throughout the logistics process, covering not only location but also temperature, humidity, shock, light intensity, and tilt.
Recent geopolitical risks such as the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz have gone beyond merely disrupting shipping routes, causing extended transit times and greater exposure of cargo to external environmental conditions. In particular, biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and EV batteries, which are sensitive to temperature and humidity fluctuations, face critical risks of quality degradation due to unexpected delays and environmental changes.
Willog's solution plays a decisive role in protecting cargo quality during such crises by monitoring cargo condition in real time. IoT sensor devices collect and analyze external environmental factors that can arise along transport routes, including temperature deviations, humidity changes, and physical shocks, enabling stakeholders to intuitively assess cargo quality status and take preemptive countermeasures.
Willog's technology has been applied to biopharmaceuticals, fresh food, batteries, semiconductors, and other special cargo. Most recently, Hyundai Glovis applied Willog's solution to the global transport of knocked-down (KD) automotive components, launching an initiative to improve KD shipping quality to automotive production hubs in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
In addition, Willog is applying its solution to the military logistics domain, specifically for overseas deployment cargo transport systems. Through real data-based monitoring and on-site environmental analysis, the company is collecting data on cargo damage and anomalies occurring in specific segments, with plans to connect this data to the military's AX (AI Transformation) strategy and decision-making framework.
Willog CEO Bae Sung-hoon stated: "As geopolitical risks increase volatility in logistics routes, the value of data that proves cargo quality in real time will only grow. We plan to accelerate our global market entry through the overseas procurement market and will apply K-logistics technology to ensure cargo is transported safely anywhere in the world."
Meanwhile, Willog is showcasing the technology that earned its G-PASS certification at KOREA MAT, held at KINTEX Hall 2 in Ilsan from March 31 to April 3.
