- Economic losses from returns, disposal, and reverse logistics stem from the absence of transport quality management
- Pain points in the transport process analyzed by industry and cargo type, including fresh food, biopharmaceuticals, and high-value sensitive goods; Willog's transport quality management solutions proposed to minimize risk and cost losses
- International Logistics Industry Exhibition to be held April 18 to 21 at KINTEX, Ilsan; Willog to operate exhibition booth 2C210 at KINTEX Hall 1 throughout the event
Willog (co-CEOs Bae Sung-hoon and Yoon Ji-hyun) announced on the 11th that it will participate in the International Logistics Industry Exhibition opening on the 18th at KINTEX, Ilsan, where it will present its product condition monitoring solution. Through its exhibition booth, Willog plans to analyze the pain points experienced by companies across sectors such as fresh food, biopharmaceuticals, and high-value sensitive goods during the transport process, and to present transport quality management approaches tailored to each industry and cargo type that can minimize risk and cost losses.
Now in its 13th year, the International Logistics Industry Exhibition (Korea MAT) is the largest specialized logistics industry exhibition in Korea, hosted by the Korea Integrated Logistics Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It will be held at KINTEX, Ilsan for four days from April 18 to 21. The event encompasses a total of seven exhibitions, including the International Logistics Industry Exhibition itself, running simultaneously across 3,000 booths. Companies spanning all areas of logistics, including transport services and solutions, logistics IT, logistics automation systems, distribution solutions and equipment, and cold chain solutions, participate to exhibit their latest products and solutions and exchange industry trends and technical information.
Willog provides a product condition monitoring solution. When transporting a wide range of cargo including raw materials, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and food, Willog collects diverse condition data, including temperature, humidity, and shock, that can affect product quality from the point of dispatch through to return, using its proprietary sensor devices. It then provides logistics visibility into product status throughout the entire supply chain movement through its platform. By analyzing the collected condition data, Willog predicts risks and proposes preemptive countermeasures to prevent transport quality issues. The system also clarifies accountability when issues arise, preemptively preventing transport interruptions or disputes, and enables companies to manage product quality throughout the transport process.
At this exhibition, Willog will analyze the various challenges companies face during the transport process by industry and cargo type, and present corresponding solutions. First, the exhibition will examine the pain points experienced by companies in the middle-mile segment when transporting fresh food such as food ingredients. It will present alternative approaches to overcoming the challenges caused by the lack of monitoring when using contracted or charter vehicles, along with issue-specific solutions such as automation of documentation including delivery statements and driving records, and delivery route optimization. For the last-mile segment reaching individual consumers as well, fresh food deliveries often result in direct and indirect cost burdens for companies due to the inability to accurately identify the causes of delivery complaints or returns; Willog plans to examine these issues and present response strategies.
For biopharmaceutical transport, which has been subject to tightened cold chain management regulations since last year, the exhibition will present approaches to achieving full compliance while minimizing manual processes, along with measures to extract and verify optimized transport data tailored to individual companies. Methods for reducing operational complexity in the field to minimize human error will also be demonstrated.
In addition, transport quality management know-how for high-value sensitive goods, where damage or deterioration caused by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and shock can result in significant economic losses for companies, will also be introduced.
Willog Co-CEO Yoon Ji-hyun stated: "Many companies are suffering massive cost losses due to reverse logistics costs from product returns, disposal, and recalls, yet have been unable to find effective transport quality management methods. At this exhibition, Willog will diagnose the challenges companies face by industry and present transport quality management approaches that can minimize internal and external risks and cost losses. We look forward to welcoming all interested parties."
Meanwhile, Willog's exhibition booth (2C201) at KINTEX Hall 1 can be visited without any prior registration by any interested party during the exhibition period.
