Willog (co-CEOs Bae Sung-hoon and Yoon Ji-hyun), an AIoT-based supply chain intelligence solutions company, announced that it successfully concluded its participation in "BIOPLUS-INTERPHEX KOREA 2025 (BIX 2025)," Korea's largest bio industry exhibition.
Held over three days from October 15 at COEX in Seoul, the event saw Willog showcase regulatory compliance monitoring solutions for global export as well as domestic bio pharmaceutical transport and storage under KGMP and KGSP regulations, drawing significant attention from numerous industry stakeholders.
Notable among the results was the company's conduct of proof-of-concept (PoC) consultations with more than 50 companies through expert consulting sessions held at Willog's booth throughout the exhibition period. Generating particularly strong interest were customized solutions for bio pharmaceutical transport, manufacturing, and storage facility monitoring; regulatory compliance for global markets; and methods for securing supply chain visibility across international transport operations.
In addition, a large number of meeting requests were received from bio and pharmaceutical-specialized logistics companies, carriers, and freight forwarders seeking to collaborate with Willog as a means of building differentiated competitive advantage.
On the first day of the event, Lee Seung-ryeol, Director-General of Industrial Policy at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, visited Willog's booth and expressed strong interest in the company's data-based supply chain management technology for securing cold chain stability for bio pharmaceuticals. Director-General Lee conveyed his expectations for Willog's role as a key technology provider for bio materials, parts, and equipment, in support of strengthening the global competitiveness of the K-bio industry.
On the final day of the event, October 17, CEO Bae Sung-hoon delivered a presentation titled "AIoT-based Bio Supply Chain Visibility Implementation Cases" during the specialized session on "Bio Materials, Parts, Equipment Trends and Cold Chain Using AI." CEO Bae shared strategies for maintaining bio pharmaceutical quality and securing supply chain transparency using Willog's IoT sensor devices and solutions, providing practical insights applicable to real-world operations.
Willog provides a solution that uses patented IoT sensor devices to collect environmental data on temperature, humidity, shock, and other variables from cargo in real-time, and analyzes this data with AI to predict and manage risks across the entire logistics process. This ensures that environmentally sensitive bio pharmaceuticals maintain optimal quality until delivered to the end consumer. Building on its logistics technology expertise for bio pharmaceuticals, the company is expanding into diverse fields including displays, semiconductors, and food products.
Willog CEO Bae Sung-hoon stated: "It was deeply meaningful to meet so many industry stakeholders at BIX 2025 and share solutions for the successful global expansion of K-bio. We will continue to leverage innovative technology to strengthen the stability of pharmaceutical supply chains that are directly linked to public health, and to enhance the global competitiveness of Korean companies."
