  • AIoT logistics solution based on QR, BLE, and LTE technology innovates data visibility
  • Employment growth of 170% within four years of founding, leading the way in youth job creation

Willog (co-CEOs Bae Sung-hoon and Yoon Ji-hyun), an AIoT-based supply chain intelligence solutions company, announced on the 10th that it received a Presidential Citation at the "2025 Venture Startup Promotion Contributions Award" ceremony held at COEX.

The Venture Startup Promotion Contributions Award, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is held annually to inspire innovation among outstanding venture companies and entrepreneurs driving Korea's innovative growth and to disseminate their achievements. Willog was honored with the Presidential Citation in recognition of its leadership in driving the digital transformation (DX) of the logistics industry through its proprietary AIoT technology and its creation of quality youth employment through explosive growth.

Since its founding in 2021, Willog has grown by resolving chronic inefficiencies in logistics operations. Conventional tachograph- and USB data logger-based methods were unreliable, as they did not permit real-time verification during transport and carried risks of data manipulation. To overcome these limitations, Willog built a comprehensive lineup of IoT sensor devices incorporating not only its proprietary advanced QR code technology but also BLE and LTE communications.

Through this technology, Willog collects real-time data on cargo status, including temperature, humidity, shock, tilt, light intensity, and location, and has realized a transparent "logistics intelligence" environment that enables immediate visibility into the entire transport process without the need for separate software or equipment.

Willog's technology has particularly demonstrated its value in the transport of high-value, sensitive cargo such as biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, secondary batteries, and displays. The company's proprietary i-VLC (Intelligent Variable-Length Control Algorithm) carries more than four times the data capacity of conventional QR codes while providing robust security, and BLE and LTE models guarantee uninterrupted data transmission.

Technological innovation directly translated into job creation. Willog has maintained an average annual employment growth rate of 28% since founding, creating 170% more jobs than at the time of its establishment in 2021, and has contributed to alleviating youth unemployment and enhancing employment stability through the introduction of a competency-based, fair performance evaluation and compensation system.

Willog is designating 2026 as the inaugural year of its global leap forward, building on this recognition. The company plans to aggressively enter global markets through subsidiaries in the United States, Singapore, and Japan, and to expand its business model beyond simple monitoring to encompass logistics insurance, finance, and carbon credits (ESG) based on accumulated data, evolving into an innovative logistics intelligence platform that proactively delivers insights to users.

Willog CEO Yoon Ji-hyun stated: "This Presidential Citation is recognition of the potential of logistics data innovation that Willog has demonstrated over the past four years, and is also the starting point for a greater leap forward. Through full-scale global expansion, Willog will present its solutions as the new standard of supply chain management worldwide, and will establish itself as a core K-logistics platform company that leads the paradigm of the global logistics market."
