Willog Sweeps Five 2025 Awards Including Presidential Commendation
  • Five awards swept including the Presidential Citation for 2025 Venture Startup Promotion Contributions, the MFDS Commissioner Award, and a patent award
  • Proprietary AIoT technology validates innovations in bio and food data integrity and next-generation logistics
  • Full-scale global expansion and goals to innovate public logistics infrastructure including defense AX and K-drone initiatives

Willog (co-CEOs Bae Sung-hoon and Yoon Ji-hyun), an AIoT-based logistics intelligence solutions company, has cemented its position as Korea's leading logistics technology company by achieving a "quintuple crown" of five major awards in a single year, including a Presidential Citation.

Willog received recognition across all dimensions of technological capability, innovation, and industry contribution, beginning with the Korea Cold Chain Association Chairman Award at the 3rd Korea Cold Chain Awards, followed by:

  • Korea Bio Association Chairman Award at the 2025 Bio Industry Day
  • Presidential Citation for 2025 Venture Startup Promotion Contributions
  • Excellence Award at the Korea Venture Startup Patent Grand Prix
  • Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) Commissioner Award for imported food safety management

The significance of this quintuple achievement extends beyond external growth, demonstrating that Willog's technology is actively solving difficult market challenges. Of particular note, the Presidential Citation received on the 10th recognized Willog's achievement in simultaneously securing proprietary patent technology and creating quality youth employment within four years of founding, accomplished through digital transformation using Korea's first QR technology and data-driven logistics innovation.

The MFDS Commissioner Award and the Excellence Award at the Korea Venture Startup Patent Grand Prix further underscore Willog's differentiated technological capabilities. Willog extended the exacting quality management standards developed for the biopharmaceutical cold chain to food distribution management, satisfying the strict data integrity requirements stipulated by MFDS, thereby raising the bar for imported food safety management. The patent award-winning "Transport Environment Sensing and Processing Device" technology presented a next-generation logistics solution that goes beyond simple monitoring to prevent data errors during transport and analyze root causes using AI.

Building on these achievements, Willog has set out an ambitious vision to make 2026 "the inaugural year of global expansion and intelligent logistics infrastructure development."

In the coming year, Willog will enter global markets through overseas subsidiaries, providing End-to-End (E2E) visibility solutions in earnest. In the Asian market, Willog will act as a digital partner helping Japan address the logistics workforce shortage known as the "2024 Problem," and in Singapore, will serve as a hub for the Southeast Asian pharmaceutical cold chain, expanding its global footprint. The company also plans to collaborate with the Indonesian Cold Chain Association (ICCA/ARPI) to build a distributed cold chain model suited to the archipelago nation's characteristics.

Expansion into the public and defense sectors beyond the private market will also accelerate. Willog plans to support emergency pharmaceutical delivery monitoring in conjunction with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "K-Drone Delivery" system and to contribute to establishing a cold chain logistics safety management certification framework. In line with the defense innovation agenda, Willog will undertake the construction of an intelligent logistics platform to achieve visibility in military supply chain logistics, planning to lead the advancement of national essential logistics infrastructure in an era of the Physical Internet and Agentic AI.

Willog CEO Bae Sung-hoon stated: "The quintuple crown we earned this year is recognition of Willog's efforts to make the invisible logistics process visible through data and to build trust upon that foundation. In 2026, we will devote ourselves to technological advancement and global market development so that K-logistics technology, born in Korea, can take its place as the standard of data trust in logistics operations around the world."
